Minimum Quantity Lubricants
OPORTET® - minimum quantity lubricants are finely applied to tools using appropriate micro-dosing systems. Minimal consumption (< 50 ml/h) ensures a clean workplace and thus no waste disposal or degreasing costs. They do not mix with water and hence offer no culture medium for bacteria or fungi. Despite low viscosity and pour point they have low volatility and excellent oxidation stability.
If used as a minimum quantity lubricant the usual full lubrication equipment and the costs of maintenance, service, monitoring, reprocessing and disposal of the cooling lubricant are unnecessary. Spray and distribution losses are negligible so machinery and workplaces remain clean and safety is improved.
OPORTET® - HR18
Biologically easily degradable, minimum quantity lubricant on a fatty alcohol base. OPORTET® - HR18 is suitable for all lighter forms of material removing and forming processes, especially those involving sawing steel, iron, non-ferrous metal and alloys.
OPORTET® - HR16
Biologically easily degradable, minimum quantity lubricant on a fatty alcohol base. Outstandingly well suited for subsequent hardening of aluminium sectioning thanks to its especially favourable evaporation characteristics.
OPORTET® - 5/97
Minimum quantity lubricant on a fatty acid ester base. OPORTET® - 5/97 is biologically easily degradable and consists solely of ingredients approved for use in the foodstuffs industry. High lubricating and pressure absorption characteristics make it ideal for use in heavy-duty processing of iron, steel, non-ferrous metal and alloys.
OPORTET® - K2020
Minimum quantity lubricant on a polymer base. Outstanding lubrication and anti-friction characteristics make this product ideal and very economical in use when processing iron, steel, non-ferrous metal and alloys.
OPORTET® - K2044
Economical minimum quantity lubricant based on ester oils with outstanding lubricating and anti-friction properties for material removing and non-cutting processing of steel, iron, non-ferrous metal and alloys.
OPORTET® - K2036 (MF)
High-performance lubricant on an ester oil, mineral oil and extreme pressure additive base. OPORTET® - K2036 is a minimum quantity lubricant ideal for heavy-duty processing of iron, steel, castings and non-ferrous metal. Also available as OPORTET® K2036MF with even better smoke characteristics.
